Tribal Assistance Program

To continue with the Viasat ACP you should keep these things in your mind:

You must use your Viasat ACP benefits at least once every month or 30 days.
The Viasat ACP service is non-transferable. That means you cannot transfer your ACP benefits to any other individual or household.
This program is for eligible consumers only.

Only one Viasat ACP benefit is permitted for a household.

Name of the school or school district.
A current award year (For Pell Grant).
Dated for the current School year or the school year immediately preceding the application (For School Lunch or School Breakfast qualifying Programs).
Address and Contact information for the school, and school year for which the student is enrolled.

If you qualify through Income:

If you qualify through Income, then the following documents are needed:

Prior year’s state, federal, or Tribal Tax Return.
Social Security Benefit Statement.

Check that your documents have the following information:

Your name or your dependent’s name.
All of your current income information.
If you provide pay stubs, then you need to submit three consecutive months of pay stubs.
An issued date within the last 12 months or prior year tax document.

To prove your Address:

To prove that your address is a valid one, you have to submit the following documents:

Map that shows your physical address or location.
Official documents that show your name and Address.

Examples of such documents:

Driver’s License.
Valid Government, state or Tribal ID.
Utility bill excluding wireless phone bills (Within the last 30 days).
W-2 or Tax Return.
Mortgage or Lease document.

Proof of Date of Birth

Provide a copy of an official, unexpired document that has:

Your First and Last Name.
Date of Birth.

Proof of SSN4 or Tribal ID

If you provided the last four digits of your social Security number or Full Tribal ID with your application, provide a copy of an official document that has:

Your First and Last Name.
The last four digits of your social security number or Full Tribal ID.

Government Assistance Program Document.

Proof of your Identity:

You have to submit the following documents as proof of your Identity:

Government, Military, State, or Tribal ID.
Driver’s License.
Government Assistance Program Document.
Birth Certificate.
Social Security Card.
Prior year’s tax return, or w-2.

Your submitted documents must have the following information:

Your First and Last name.
Date of Birth.
The last 4 digits of the social security number or Full Tribal ID.

You also need to prove that you are alive:

To prove that you are alive, provide one document that:

Confirms your First and Last name.
Shows life activity within the last three months.

Note: The Affordable Connectivity Program will stop accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. So consumers must be approved and enrolled with a service provider by 11:59 p.m ET on February 7th to receive the ACP benefits. The existing ACP beneficiaries will continue to receive their ACP benefits for at least April 2024. This date is an estimate and may change.
